What are the different ticket types? 

  • Premium (Best Visibility) 

  • Zone A (Excellent Visibility) 

  • Zone A - side view(Excellent Visibility) 

  • Zone B (Good Visibility) 

  • Zone C (Fair Visibility) 

  • Balcony (May have restricted view or audio) 

Can I buy tickets at the venue? 

Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue. All tickets must be purchased through the website www.ticketsource.co.uk/mintyspectre prior to arriving at the event. 

How do I book a ticket for my carer? 

Guests requiring assistance throughout the experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their Personal Assistant/Support worker. Please contact us HERE with proof of needing a carer ticket. 

Once we receive this, we will provide you with a discount code that you can use to purchase your free Carer ticket. 

Please keep in mind that you will have to show this, along with your tickets, to enter the venue. Each Carer’s ticket will need to be purchased with at least one other full price ticket. 

Here are some of the documents we accept: 

  • Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility. 

  • Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP). 

  • Evidence of being severely sight impaired. 

  • CredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement. 

Is there an age requirement for the event? 

All guests must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Where can I find my ticket? 

You can find your ticket in by logging in to your www.ticketsource.co.uk account. You will also find further details in your purchase confirmation email.

Can I change my ticket? 

Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. In the event of a sold out event, exchanges may be permitted. 

Where is the experience taking place?

Is there food served? 

No. This venue only sells drinks. 

Can I bring animals? 

Animals are not allowed, except for service animals. 

Does this venue have disability access? 

The main seating is on the ground floor with wheelchair access ramps from the front of the building, and all toilets are on the ground floor.

Is there parking available? 

There is no parking available for audience members at the venue. 

Vehicles can drop off at the venue, however parking is not permitted. Please note, access to the venue is via a narrow single lane road. 

Can I take pictures or videos during the performance? 

Photos and videos can only be taken during the final piece and without flash, as indicated by our performers. 

Can I use my phone during the performance? 

We ask guests not to use their phones during the entire performance so they do not spoil the candlelit atmosphere. Your phone must be on silent mode during the entire performance. Photos and videos can only be taken during the final piece and without flash, as indicated by our performers. 

Can I leave the concert room during the performance? 

In order to minimise disruption and distraction of other guests and performers, we encourage all audience members to remain seated for the duration of the performance. 

When should I arrive? 

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance starts in order to be assigned a seat within your purchased zone. The performance will begin on time, and the audience must already be seated beforehand. Latecomers will not be permitted.

Booking Info

Arrival and Admission

Venue doors will open at least 45 minutes before the published event start time.

We recommend arriving early to allow sufficient time for admission, seating, refreshments, and any accessibility assistance you may require.

Latecomers will not be admitted once the performance has begun.

Please ensure you arrive in good time, as no refunds will be available for missed admission due to late arrival.

Parking

There are two large public car parks located within easy walking distance of the venue:

  • Britannia Car Park,

  • NCP Car Park,

  • Osborne Street

Please note that parking charges may apply. Visitors are advised to check current parking tariffs and operating hours before travelling.


Bar Facilities

A paid bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available before the event.

The bar will close 10 minutes before the advertised performance start time and will not reopen during the performance.

Payment is accepted by both cash and card.

Only drinks purchased from the event bar may be consumed inside the venue.


External Food and Drink

Food and drink purchased outside the venue may not be consumed within the event space.

Venue Security reserves the right to confiscate alcoholic beverages brought into the venue from external sources.

Any confiscated alcohol will be retained securely and returned to guests upon departure from the venue.

Venue Policies

For the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests, audience members are expected to follow any instructions provided by venue staff, event staff, or security personnel.

Photography, video recording and audio recording are strictly prohibited during the performance unless otherwise authorised by Minty Spectre Community Interest Company.

Minty Spectre Community Interest Company and venue management reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, intoxicated, or otherwise inappropriate. In such circumstances, refunds will not be provided.

Venue Access

Level access to the venue is available. If you require step-free access, please speak to a member of the event team on arrival, who will be happy to assist you.

Balcony Seating

Please note that balcony seating requires the use of steps and is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. If you have accessibility requirements, we recommend selecting seats within the main seating area wherever possible.

Assistance animals are welcome at the venue.

Event staff will be available to provide guidance and assistance where required.

We recommend arriving in good time before the performance if you require any additional support or assistance with seating.

Due to the historic nature of St Botolph's Church, some areas of the building may have physical limitations. If you have any questions about access, please contact us before booking.

Ticket Refund Policy

Minty Spectre Community Interest Company operates in accordance with standard UK live theatre and event industry practices regarding ticket sales and refunds.


Ticket Sales

All tickets purchased for Minty Spectre performances, events, screenings, workshops, or live appearances are sold subject to this policy.Once a booking has been completed, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except in the circumstances outlined below.


Customer Cancellation or Non-Attendance

Refunds will not be provided where:

  • A ticket holder can no longer attend the event;

  • A ticket holder arrives late and is refused admission in line with venue policy;

  • A ticket holder is removed from the venue due to inappropriate, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour;

  • A performance proceeds as advertised but the ticket holder chooses not to attend for any reason.

This includes illness, travel disruption, scheduling conflicts, weather conditions, or personal circumstances outside the control of Minty Spectre Community Interest Company.


Event Cancellation by Minty Spectre Community Interest Company

If a performance or event is cancelled by Minty Spectre Community Interest Company, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket purchased.

Where discounted tickets are purchased, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket value paid.

Where possible, refunds will be processed automatically to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or ticketing platform used.


Event Changes

Minty Spectre Community Interest Company reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event programming, venue, timings, performers, or running order where necessary.Such changes shall not normally entitle ticket holders to a refund unless the event is formally cancelled.


Force Majeure

Minty Spectre Community Interest Company shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations or for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, public health emergencies, government restrictions, industrial action, venue closures, or technical failures.In such cases, refunds will be considered in accordance with applicable UK consumer law and venue or ticketing provider policies.


Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
